Joy did my virgin relaxer which came out perfect and she didn't judge me or make me feel guilty for perming my hair after being natural 2 years. Most importantly! The music playing was almost identical to my playlist at home, I just knew immediately I was in good hands. I would go back a thousand times!

This salon has a long history of professionalism and regularly demonstrates outstanding results in the hair business. Both Sharon and Joy have done my hair many times and they both bring a diverse balance to the hair community they serve. I have ALWAYS left the salon as a happy customer with many compliments that followed.

I just relocated to Connecticut from Dallas, TX less than a month ago and was in desperate need of a new stylist. I went natural for the first time in my life about a year ago and require A LOT of help with my hair; styling, maintenance, moisturizing, growth, etc... So when I found Sharon Joy Salon online and saw the styling pictures of her clients, I was anxious to get an appointment. My appointment started on time and I was out in no time. Joy listened to the concerns I had about my hair, gave some really good advice specific to my hair type and texture, and she did a great job with it! The salon was very neat and clean and I loved the old school R&B music she played. Joy definitely has a client for life in me.

I have been going to this salon for about 16 years now. They ALL care about the health of your hair. Joy , mona and ranada are all gifted and I have used them all depending on what I need done. Joy is my regular stylist and she always listens to what the clients need verses sometimes what we want 🤭 because she cares so much about what is the most healthiest for your lifestyle. The experience is very professional and when I go every week it's like visiting family . Will always be loyal to sharonjoy Salon. They are sisters who truly care ♥️

I had an amazing experience at Sharon Joy from selecting my stylist through the on point recommendation of, I believe, the salon manager, to booking a consultation with my amazing stylist, Ranada, to appointment, and finally, my finished look. I had an appointment scheduled for the morning February 26 for a virgin relaxer, cut, and style. Wherever I had the pleasure of speaking with Ranada for the first time, she was so very attentive, responsive, kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. She actually stayed on the phone with me a bit and chatted a little bit more about why this new haircut was so important and transformative for be. As amazing as a stylist she is, I'm positive she had so much more are had to do but I'm so grateful she took the time out with me. The customer services tracked right over to the in person appointment. She took her time to pay, attention to detail and made sure to somehow tap ignto exactly what my hair needed that day. It turned out beautifully! I was so happy I could cry And after ALL of that Ranada takes with me just about life for a good while more. She took pictures, hyped me up, and told me how good Is looked and the style for me so well. I left there totally happy and satisfied with my hair and I will be settng an appointment to return sometime this week. I just KNEW it was going to go well after I spoke to her I.was right! And I can't wait until my next appointment.

From my first step in the establishment I was pleased. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. And prior to making aaappointment, I was given a consultation. That let me know that she really cared about the condition of my scalp and hair. I received a Color that I've been craving for sometime and the end results were Beautiful! I HIGHLY Recommend Joy for color. The Lady knows her thang! And I'll definitely be going back for my touch up.

I had my first appointment at Sharon Joy Salon. It was a good experience. All of the staff were friendly. I didn’t wait long from the time I arrived until they started on me. Now for the cut I received. I booked my appointment with Sharon for a “big chop.” She assessed my hair and went over exactly how much she would be taking off before cutting anything. After the cut she styled my hair and explained exactly how to recreate the style at home and how to maintain the style in the coming days. I loved the end result!!! I’ve had so many compliments, even within hours of leaving the salon!! Sharon seemed very knowledgeable about hair and it comes across in the care she put into the cut and style. I will definitely be returning!

Place is beautiful, relaxing & pleasant. My stylist, Joy is very professional, friendly & focused. My hair was practically fried but she restored it. I showed her the cut I wanted & she immediately started working, as if it was 2nd nature to her. She cut, relaxed, colored, & styled my hair exactly like I asked. The wait was short. Not not familiar with prices since I didn’t get my hair done in years but WORTH every dollar. I will definitely return. Great ambiance in my new salon.
